This wild silk duvet has a filling of Tussah silk. This silk comes from the oak spinner caterpillar, a type of caterpillar that feeds on oak leaves. These caterpillars spin a cocoon for themselves to emerge. This cocoon forms the raw material for the Tussah silk.
