Wild silk duvet

This wild silk duvet has a filling of Tussah silk. This silk comes from the oak spinner caterpillar, a type of caterpillar that feeds on oak leaves. These caterpillars spin a cocoon for themselves to emerge. This cocoon forms the raw material for the Tussah silk. The fine silk is very strong and has very good moisture regulation and ventilation capacity. Tussah silk can dissipate (body) heat very quickly and ensures rapid evaporation of moisture. These properties make this nature duvet extremely suitable for the summer months. The satin ticking makes the duvet fall very smoothly over the body, which improves comfort. The thin filling makes the duvet light and airy.
